Visual Ranking Project Experience

I set up a visual ranking project this afternoon for both of my classes. The project was based around our Unit 2 essential question from our Scott Foresman reading program. The question is, "What makes people want to do the right thing?"

I feel pretty good about it. Initially, one challenge was trying to understand how to set up teams and passwords for the students. It will be interesting to see how this goes with my class. I like Cheryl's idea about ranking our reading stories from most to least favorite as well.

Just want to send out a big "Roll Tide" to everyone!!!!

Here are a few more photos from the Bahamas. Mattley loved all the water and the kids play areas, and Ashley and I had a blast on all the waterslides. If you have kids (or want to feel like a kid again yourself), you definitely need to take a trip to Atlantis! The last picture is from our plane trip home. Mattley flew for free, so she sat in our laps.

Bahamas Trip Photos

As many of you know, I love to travel. This summer we decided to grab our passports and head to Paradise Island in the Bahamas. We drove to Atlanta, watched a Braves game, and flew out nonstop the next morning. The flight was 2 hours, and Mattley was pretty good during it. We took a taxi to Atlantis on Paradise Island...our new home for the next 5 days. Here are some photos from our trip...
